Infrastructure

This section is for the curious. You don't need to read it to use tala.family services — but if you want to understand how things work under the hood, or you're helping troubleshoot a problem, this is the place.

The tala.family infrastructure is codenamed Borealis Anastasia. It runs on a single physical server located in Switzerland, with a backup replica in a second location.

• Physical setup — The hardware, operating system, and storage.
• Services — Everything that runs on the server, with URLs and access levels.
